Essentials of a Diaper Bag for travel

For every young couple, it is necessary to carry a proper diaper bag for travel. Having the right bag helps you to carry essentials for baby care on hand as and when you may need to travel with your young child. Purchase a big bag to store these checked items and pack your bag for any possible situation.

Baby Clothes:
Always keep extra clothes for your baby. Babies may spoil their clothes while playing, having fed and such others. Sometimes, you may need to keep extra clothes as diapers leak with excess flow. Considering the weather conditions, you can keep extra clothes for your bundles of joy. In slight winterish months, you should carry long-sleeved dresses for your baby and do not forget to keep a warm blanket along as well.

Diaper Supplies:
Diaper is an essential item for your travel bag. Keep additional 3-4 diapers during your travel time. Excess usage of diapers may cause rashes all over the body of your child. Keep ointment and powder to minimize the effect of these potential consequences of diapers with you in your bag.

Feeding a Baby:
For feeding your baby, you need to carry a burp cloth, bibs or possibly a cover that gives you complete privacy during feeding time. Bottle-fed babies need bottles and formula. For measuring formula, you need to carry exact spoons as well.

Hello I am 23 weeks w/ a baby girl, and we are going shopping later with exactly $400 (we are careful budgeters). Obviously that is not enough for baby items lol, because we have been doing our shopping gradually, spending small amounts of money at a time. This is our first child, so I have NO IDEA what I really need.
Some things I have already gotten:
- Stroller
- Car seat
- Diaper pail
- Bedding Set
- Crib matress cover
- 5 outfits (were obviously getting more)
- A few pairs of socks
- Diaper bag
- Baby bath tub
- Hooded towels / Washcloths
My dad is buying her crib as his baby gift, but I need to know what else I need!!

First thing is are you having a baby shower? if so wait on the smaller things such as towels/wash cloths, socks, and other clothes or cheaper items. a few ways you could stretch your money would be to check out some second hand children stores you obviously wouldnt want to by a used bugger sucker lol but i have found alot of name brand clothes that are lightly worn or even brand new for much less then the mall or even walmart! As far as youre list goes i would say
1.Approx. ten baby blankets
2.burp rags
3.A child safety kit
4.Baby tylenol or motrin( you dont want to take a sick baby out at 3 am for meds.)
5.Bottles!! the best ones i found were platex drop ins, the baby wont get as much air that way which means less tummy pains
6. If you use drop ins you will need refills, i think the parents choice ones are 6-7 dollars for 200 for the first month or so ull need 4 oz.
7.A vaporizer would be a good idea
8.A bassinet unless shes sleeping in her crib right away if not a pack and play will be a great investment, has a built in bassinet and changing table then once shes to big for that it turns into a play pen
9.Body shirts-onesies
10.A bottle washer
11.Neck supporter for the car seat and strap covers
12.Baby book
13.Hats (depending on where u live)
14.A mobile for the crib, relaxes them alot
15.A swing (a must have for my son)
16.Some kind of bouncer or baby rocker
17.Soap
18.Loation, Baby magic is ten times better then johnsons
19.Baby powder
20.Diaper rash cream the best ive used is butt paste
21. Diapers and wipes, swaddlers work best for the first few weeks, there cut low so they dont rub off or irritate the umbilical cord.
Be careful abound buying alot of diapers wipes or lotions just in case she has sensitive skin.
22. A bottle of purex to wash her clothes in for the first month or 2 another sensitive skin thing!
As far as towels go i used the cute little hooded baby towel 1 time and realized that while they may be cute there not so great there kind of rough and extremely thin its hard to dry the baby and they dont keep them warm , after that i went out and bought my son a few of the thick, soft towels that are only for him!
Thats all i can think of other then lots of patience!! the last few months of pregnancy are gonna be hard, then the first few months of her life are gonna be hard, just remember that it will get easier, She will eventually sleep through the nite and its worth every bit of of it!!
