The North Face Base Camp messenger bag comes in the only two sizes you would need, small and large. If you are looking for a comfortable messenger bag that will withstand tons of abuse and pack a ton of stuff then you've found the right bag. I'm going to go into detail about the messenger bag in the next section.
The only difference between the two bags is the sizing, the small is ideal for daily commuting if you don't need to carry lots of stuff with you. It comes in at 800 cubic inches or 13 liters with dimensions of 12" x 12" x 4". The large on the other hand comes in at a whipping 1525 cubic inches and a nice 15" x 18" x 5". I prefer the large personally. We got some review bags at the office and I defiantly made sure that I got the biggest one as I tend to carry around lots of junk while I'm commuting.
Messenger Bag Exterior:
The North Face Base Camp is made with PVC tarpaulin so you'll never have to worry about leaks. This stuff feels legit. I could ride with it all winter and not have a problem. The shoulder straps are very adjustable and I even got the large bag to fit on my wife and look nice. One feature that I really love is the hip belt. It's nice to keep your load secured while running or biking. There's nothing worse than having your bag go flying. The bag also has some of the best compression straps I've ever seen on a messenger bag. Having a big bag but nothing to tie it down and keep it compact is the worst. Good job, North Face.
Internal Components:
The inside of the bag contains two big mesh compartments with zippers one in the main compartment and one on the underside of the flap, pretty standard but tried and true. The bag contains an internal organizer and divider pocket to keep everything from getting unorganized.
Verdict:
Overall, I think The North Face Base Camp Messenger Bag line is pretty incredible and a great bang for the buck. I feel confident saying that as North Face products come with a life time warranty and you really can't go wrong with that.
