I'm gonna start sch. soon and I was looking around for a good bag. I need one that can carry a 14" laptop, charger, notes, books everyday. It must also be able to carry extra clothes cause i might go to the gym every so often

i need some good places for baby clothes? and etc.?

okay so i'm on a budget of like 2,000$ for baby things.
and i was wondering of places on the internet or in the city where i can find some good quality baby furniture, clothing, diaper bags, etc.
give me some different choices besides target, walmart, and babies r us please.

Well in my area there is always Kohl's & TJ Maxx. Both here have really nice selections. TJ's even has some baby furniture. I personally like eBay for clothing & have had great luck there with buying "lots" as well as individual items. Whatever I don't like in a lot I either donate to Goodwill or even sell on a yard sale. If you are industrious you can even resell them on eBay - my SIL does that & makes money clothing her son. She figures she made over $2000 last year on buying lots, having her son wear most if not all of it & reselling the ones she didn't like or he outgrew. I am not sure how she finds the time! Sounds worth it if you can though.

I think if you are creative & take your time you can get a LOT for that budget. I got everything for my first for less than half of that & I got lots of compliments on his clothes, etc....if you shop smart it doesn't have to be expensive. Chop as cheap as you can (and be happy with what you got) and put the rest into a college account. Believe me, your child will thank you for not shopping retail at Gymboree & instead stowing away all the money you saved. We live on a tight budget not because we have to - but because we CAN & we can do so quite comfortably & if by chance we get their college funds all paid up early - then that extra money will then go into a separate account to help pay for a wedding, a first home, whatever.... for now I do second hand through eBay, thrift stores, yard sales & shop deals at retail.... I hope someday they appreciate it. I can't imagine that they won't. And as our income increases, we stay living at this level (we are already used to it anyway) and add more money into savings & investments. Knowing your budget is a great beginning to financial freedom! Kudos!

Some also have small water bladders with tubes called hydration packs, which can often hold up to two gallons.

Keep in mind that one gallon of water weighs approximately eight pounds, so do not go overboard. There are alternatives for longer hikes when you need to carry more water.

Daypacks are also used for short hikes and come in one to three dozen liters in size. You can find them in a variety of styles. Some have a belt strap while others may have a chest strap, but all come with shoulder straps.

Larger backpacks are anywhere from 35 to 70 liters in volume and are referred to by many different terms, such as midrange, light duty packs and midsize. These packs can carry a lot of gear when used properly, but remember you still have to carry it during the hike. So, be careful how much you pack. These larger backpacks are made of a sturdier material and have a wider variety of waste belts and shoulder straps.

The largest backpacks can carry over 70 liters of volume and are referred to as full-sized, heavy duty and expedition backpacks among other names. They offer many special features to help you carry such a large load.

There are often special supports threaded through the shoulder straps and around the waist or back, which help stabilize the backpack and make it easier to carry during the hike. Oftentimes, they are designed to set higher up on the back to alleviate some of the strain from the lower back which can significantly help prevent back pain and fatigue. These largest back packs have many special support materials and balance features due to the large size. Many even offer special holders for a small tent or sleeping bags.

In general, though, a good rule of thumb is to only pack what you will need according to the length and location of the hike. Remember that you will be carrying whatever you pack!

Macbook Pro OS Lion/Laptop protection help?

I'm planning to start the IB Diploma Program and am planning to get a new laptop for the first year. I'm probably going to get a Mac because my desktop is windows.

1. Not an actual date yet but the summer of 2011
2. Yes if you already have snow leopard def update, it shoudlnt have many bugs maybe small ones but apple is good about releasing things that work.
3.Backpack with a hard case or a backpack and a sleeve.
4. the incase is better than the speck and there about the same price, but you need to take it off and wipe it down now and then so that dirt and dust won't scratch your mac.

5. im not using a hard case i use a laptop backpack with a protective built in sleeve for the computer.
6If your going to buy a mac try to wait until april because they are all getting updated and you will probably get a much better machine for the same price.

The ones they give you free in the hospital when you have a baby full of baby stuff. A friend of mine came over today with her kids and was using it as her diaper bag. It was SO cute! When I had my kids I got a free diaper bag but it was a plain black one by Similac and I used it for a while. She said it was by Nestle Good Start formula and it was a sling style backpack and it was black and lime green. I tried looking on ebay but nobody was selling one. Thanks!
