AHH! I dropped my laptop!! HELP!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! =(?
I have a macbook pro that i got about two months ago. and yesterday, i had my laptop on a chair with my bag on top of it. i went to get my bag and i didn't realize the handle of my bag was under my laptop. as i grabbed my bag, my laptop flew onto the HARD TILED floor. it was SOO loud and when i looked for damage, there was a little dent on the corner as well as a scratch and its a LITTLE bashed in near the charging spot.
i have insurance on it and i was wondering, if brought it in to Best Buy would they give me a new laptop?
even though its working perfectly fine, what are the circumstances to get a new one with insurance?
will this affect my laptop in years to come?
If it doesn't seem to have affected its performance in any way, they may not let you return it if the damage is purely cosmetic. But if you can prove to them that it is no longer working, then your warranty should cover accidental damage. Nevertheless, it can't hurt just to ask someone who works there just to make sure : )
