Can i use the melody to "I Swear" without using the music on Youtube?

So...I recently found a bunch of funny pictures of my dad, and I envisioned creating new lyrics to the song "I Swear" and making a funny video, with the pictures and my voice ....It would be like "MY DAAAAADD....doesn't own a shirt with sleeves.....annnd MY DAAAADD...wore a leather fanny pack till two thousand threeeeee...." Anyways, my question is...It's my voice and my pictures....can i use that MELODY without getting into a copyright tussle? I don't want to use the actual music, because I know it would take forever or be impossible to get approval......So, my plan is to write the lyrics and "sing" it ..haha...acapella.....but in the same style as "I swear"...can i do this? And any other suggestions if I can't...???? PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

I don't think so. The tune is copyright even without instruments.
